7

"Seven" with Brad Pitt is a very good movie, with a good moral behind the film. "Seven" is about a new detective (Brad Pitt) who joins company with a veteran detective (Morgan Freeman) and together they begin to solve the case of a couple strange murders. For example, one obese man was found, and he has literally eaten himself to death, to represent "Gluttony." The murderer played by Kevin Spacey continues with this pattern finishing off the six other deadly sins: Greed, Lust, Sloth, Wrath, Pride and he finishes off the movie by killing Brad Pitts wife for the deadly sin of Envy. Although this movie is a very graphic way of getting across a point, it shows the strong feelings of one man, but it also brings light to the actually dangers of the seven deadly sins. I do believe everyone of us get caught up in at least on of these deadly sins. Not only does the movie have a good meaning, but it also has fantastic actors and actresses including those I mentioned above...Brad Pitt who is so sexy, Morgan Freeman who is phenomenal, Kevin Spacey who plays just a insane but intelligent person fabulously, and Gwyneth Paltrow who I love. It is just a super phenomenal movie.

Sentences that Use Series

On my day off of work and school, I completed my homework, washed my clothes, and read a good book.

Every man, every woman, every child will forever remember this day.

Telling the truth, proving your innocence, making your case gives you your ticket to freedom.

Remembering life is short makes me live in the moment, love for forever, and leave all worries behind.

FIRST TESTTTTTT

YESTERDAY I HAD MY FIRST TEST IN PSYCHOLOGY...I STUDIED MY BRAIN OFF THE NIGHT BEFORE TO DO WELL ON THIS TEST. HAVE YOU EVER FELT LIKE YOU STUDIED SO MUCH THAT YOU GET LIKE NAUSEOUS?? WELL YES, THAT HAPPENED TO ME. I GOT PHYSICALLY SICK MULTIPLE TIMES JUST BECAUSE I READ MY NOTECARDS..MY NOTES..MY BOOK..AND MY STUDY GUIDE OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! I ALSO WOKE UP THE NEXT MORNING EARLY TO STUDY SOME MORE..AND I WAS SOOOO OVER STUDYING! JUST PLAIN OUT SICK AND TIRED OF STUDYING! SO I GOT TO CLASS ABOUT TEN MINUTES EARLY TO TAKE MY TEST. IT WAS SCANTRON..WHICH I WAS PREPARED WITH COURTESY OF MY SISTER. APPARENTLY, ALL THE DEPARTMENTS MUST GIVE THE SAME TEST SO SINCE WE WENT THROUGH CHAPTERS ONE THROUGH FOUR THERE WERE FOUR SEPARATE BOOKLETS FOR EACH CHAPTER. THEN YOU HAD A SHEET THAT TOLD YOU WHAT NUMBER TO ANSWER IN THE BOOKLET, THEN WHICH NUMBER IT CORRESPONDED WITH ON THE SCANTRON! SOOOO CONFUSING...I WENT THROUGH CHAPTER FOUR FIRST, AND DIDN'T FEEL SO HOT ABOUT IT SO WHEN I FINISHED I WENT BACK TO THE BOOKLET TO CHECK IT OVER, AND I MADE A FEW MISTAKES..THEN AGAIN IN CHAPTER THREE SO I ENDED UP DOUBLE CHECKING EACH OF THE CHAPTERS! BUT I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT ABOUT IT AND NOW I JUST WANT MY GRADE BACK!! SO MY FIRST TEST WAS..I WOULD SAY A SUCESS :D

Love Story

The other day after having my whinny nephew all night, I went home and for some reason I just wanted to cry! I don't think I am much of an emotional eater, so food was out of the question. I thought about doing some homework, and though against a second later. So I decided to pop in the Notebook, a fantastic love story based on the Nicholas Sparks novel...not to mention I have watched that movie a million bajillion times and it never fails... I cry EVERY TIME! I just cannot help that I am such a softie. You know when you get like that bubble in your throat, and you know the tears are about to flow? Yup, that was me. I don't think I got through 15 minutes of the movie without bursting into tears. It just truly is a sweet, heartfelt love story! If you've never seen or heard of it, it opens with two old people, and the woman has dementia or something, and he reads a love story to her everyday...but the love story is their story and how they fell in love!!!! The second he saw her, he knew that she was the one for him. They fell in love so deeply!!! I cannot help but to just cry and feel like I want to have a love like that for the rest of my life!! So freaking sweet. She remembers him at the end of the story and they die together :( I also cried during Dear John..another one of Nicholas Sparks tear jerkers..and it worked on me too! I first read the novel, which made me boo-hoo. Then I watched the movie and I cried, and cried, and cried during the movie too. It's a love story about a guy in the military, and he must leave and she finds another love while he's away. They are just such sweet and make you want to be in the love story. It amazing how writers and directors portray the films and stories so well they make you feel happy and sad and all sorts of emotions! But I love a gooood love story!

If I were principal...

Throughout my learning years I went to a decent elementary school at the time, Flowers..then I went to Baldwin which had fairly decent administrators and for high school I went to Alabama Christian Academy. At ACA we had all sorts of administrators that contributed to discipline. We had our President, Principal, Assistant Principal, Campus Minister, and many others who didn't really have a title but acted like they did. I enjoyed high school, and liked most of the administrators. If I were a principal in high school, I would like to be in charge of a school that is small. I like this because you can interact better with your students, and get on a more personal level. I enjoyed being called by name, and told good morning to by my administrators every morning. I would want discipline to be more of a loving thing than something mean used to just punish people. If you punish with a kind heart, there is more chance whatever happened will not happen again. I would want my students to be able to enjoy themselves and have many opportunities, not only in the classroom but outside of the classroom as well. Studies of course will be the main focus, but I would also like to focus on outside activities to keep students involved. I would be a fantastic principal!!!!!!!!! OH YEAH

FALL FALL FALL FALL

Fall isn't my favorite season..but fall does bring many fun activities!! When I was in high school, I used to be a manager for the football team. Being a football manager kinda got me into enjoying the football seasons. Football season is so much fun because everyone gets together and spends time watching the games with each other. I don't love football, but I do love the atmosphere football brings! Other than football, I love fall weather. All of the leaves turn bright colors, and well in Alabama we have a few cool, breezy days. My favorite part though is all of the holidays around the fall season. I love love love holidays! I enjoy dressing up for Halloween, taking my nephew to pick out his favorite pumpkin, and spending time with my friends goofing around. I also loveeeeeeee Thanksgiving!! My family breeds great cooks so every single bit of food we eat is absolutely delicious and I just love being around my family and friends for the holiday! Fall is a pretty good season...but I like winter the best!

Sing and Dance

My favorite song of the moment has to be "Dancing Nancies" by The Dave Matthews Band. Everyday before work or class I pop in my DMB CD and I listen to Dancing Nancies. The lyrics and the beat put me into a fantastic, happy mood! Not only is the song catchy, and Dave Matthews is songbird, but the lyrics in the song are so meaningful. The song begins asking "Could I have been..." and he list many things that he possibly could have been. Then he talks about a twenty-three year old who is already sick of the life he is living, and doesn't like where he is in life, but goes on to say "Look up at the sky" and gives you a picture of someone with their mouth open wide staring at the beauty of the world. In other lyrics it says "What's the use in worrying, what's the use in hurrying" which is so true in that everyone just wants to get to the next day and they don't enjoy the day they have. My favorite lyric though is "Dark clouds may hang on me sometimes, But I'll work it out then I Look up at the sky". It just gives me chills, because honestly there's no need to worry about small things because there is always a solution. This songs meaning is just to enjoy life and love what you have. It reminds me to take life day by day and try to not rush through all of my trials and tribulations, as well as the simple things I take for granted. If you wish life away, it will be gone before you know it so appreciate each day you are given, never give up, and live life to the fullest.

It was magic

My weakness has always been infomercials. I honestly will sit and watch a paid programming for hours, and I debate buying whatever it is they're selling every single time. Informercials are so high energy I just cannot help but to be drawn in and connivence myself that there is no possible way I can go on with life without their product! I usually just waste my time, and never pick up the phone to call. But one infomercial got me, and I actually bought what they were selling. I turned on the television and saw this catchy infomercial with an odd group of people sitting around a breakfast bar. One was from a different country, one was the "Ole Uncle", and one was the drunk chain smoking grandmother. They all had just woken up from a long night, and the hostesses were making them breakfast with their amazing product. They were using the Magic Bullet. This product literally does everything!! You can make smoothies, homemade salsa, milk shakes, anything really. I sat and watched them make all sorts of snacks and meals for a good hour. Its like a miniature blender that is 5 times easier to use and 5 times less the mess. So I had to have it! I picked up the phone and called and got them to deliver me my own Magic Bullet. Shipping and handling was outrageous, but I got a "free" gift so I wasn't too concerned. I still use my magic bullet to this day for all sorts of things!!

Labor

I have had three jobs since I was 15. My first real job was at Carriage Hills Animal Hospital, which was a rough, rough job. I worked in the resort part of the hospital where people would bored their dogs while they went on vacation or just day care. I don't know if you've ever seen Carriage Hills but that place is huge!!! There were five "luxury" resorts in the front, about twenty "luxury" resorts on the side, and over fifty other kennels. Oh, and a cat room! The dogs had to be walked three times a day, and their kennels cleaned twice a day. Not to mention I had to bathe dogs that were ready to go home. The hours were insane. I would wake up and be there before 7 and not leave until after 8. Beyond just the 7-8 hours, I had to work every single holiday...so when everyone was enjoying Thanksgiving dinner, I was cleaning up dog poop. Ugh!
After the animal hospital I worked at a tanning bed for about a year, which was a joke!! Somewhere during my Senior year I picked up a second job at Zoe' Kitchen and quit the tanning bed shortly after. I still work at Zoe's now, and love it for the most part. I am a shift leader which means while the manager isn't there, I am the manager on duty. I love the interaction I get with people, and it is just a fun environment. I have a lot of responsibilities at Zoe's. I have to snap people into shape, order produce, count money, and take care of the store as if it were my own. The only part I hate is just all the prep work that has to be done for the next morning...I will make a gallon and a half of lime juice and have to make more the next day!!

I see qualities in both the vet and Zoe's that I want to have in my future job. They have both definitely taught me how to be a hard worker and juggle a lot of responsibility. The only thing I look for more in the future is flexibility with my career. I want to have a ton of kids, so I want to be able to stay home with my kids as much as possible!!!
